This Cookie Policy (Policy) describes how Cubbi App Ltd (collectively referred to as Cubbi, we, us, or our in this Policy) collects and processes information about you or your device on our website: https://www.cubbi.uk/, and our application (our App) (together, the Sites) through the use of cookies.

Our Sites use cookies to distinguish you from other users which helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our Sites and also allows us to improve our Sites.

In this Policy, references to you and your are references to the visitor or user of the Sites (as applicable).

2. WHAT ARE COOKIES

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers that we store on your browser or the storage of your device (e.g. smartphone or other electronic devices), if you agree. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your device's storage.

These are widely used to enable websites and/or applications to work properly (e.g. ensuring that the right personal information collected is attached to the individual who submitted it) when collecting information that you have provided to the data controller. Once cookies are stored on your device's storage, they help analyse Site traffic or let us know when you visit a particular feature on our Sites. Cookies allow sites to respond to you as an individual and help us provide you with better Sites.

4. WHAT TYPE OF COOKIES DO WE USE?

We use the following cookies:

  • Essential cookies. These are required for the operation of our Sites. They include, for example, cookies that enable you to log into secure areas of our App. These cannot be switched off.

  • Analytics & performance. We use PostHog, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager to understand how people use Cubbi, including which screens are visited, where people get stuck, and what we should fix or improve. This helps us make the App better. We do not use this data to advertise to you.

  • Session recordings. We use PostHog session recordings to see how people interact with Cubbi, helping us identify bugs and usability issues. Recordings may capture taps, navigation and screen interactions. We do not use this data to advertise to you.

  • Advertising & marketing. We use the Meta Pixel / Conversions API, Google Ads, and Google AdSense to measure how well our advertising is working and, where you consent, to show our ads to relevant people. If you do not consent, you will still see our ads elsewhere, but they will not be measured or tailored using your Cubbi activity.

5. WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR COOKIES?

We work with the following third parties, who set cookies or use similar tracking technologies on our Sites:

  • PostHog — used for product analytics and performance monitoring, and session recordings.

  • Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd — used for advertising measurement and audience targeting via the Meta Pixel / Conversions API.

  • Google — used for advertising measurement and audience targeting via Google Ads and Google AdSense, and for site analytics via Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

To deactivate the use of third-party advertising cookies, you may visit the consumer pages provided by these third parties, or adjust your preferences via the cookie banner on our website or the Profile section of our App.

6. HOW LONG DO WE STORE YOUR COOKIES FOR?

Some cookies, called "session cookies", remain on your computer only while your browser is open, and are automatically deleted once You close your browser. Other cookies, called "permanent cookies", remain on your computer or mobile device after the browser is closed.

Please note that our use of the information we collect about you through your use of cookies is subject to our Privacy Policy.

You can block cookies by activating the setting on your browser or electronic device settings that allows you to refuse the setting of all or some cookies. However, if you use your browser settings to block all cookies (including essential cookies) you may not be able to access all or parts of our Sites.
